In the case of disability, it is important that the decision on the need for special education is a document that provides the basis for providing the necessary help and support in the process of education, upbringing and care, in accordance with individual development and educational needs, resulting both from deficits or damage to the functions or structure of the body, as well as and strengths and talents of the child.

Support for students with special educational needs
On its website, the Ministry of National Education has published recommendations regarding remote work with children with disabilities, which can be used by both teachers and parents.
The article discusses resources for students with special educational needs, which were made available on the epodreczniki.pl platform, on the website of the Education Development Center and in the zone for logged in Educational Information System.
The website of the Ministry of National Education also includes examples of materials that can be downloaded and used in work with students with special educational needs, as well as advice for teachers that may be helpful in remote education of children and adolescents with various deficits.
