At work, use the following rules for working with a child: Graduation of difficulty – moving from easy to more difficult exercises / tasks. The task cannot be made so difficult that the child will not be able to cope with it. This may cause a protest, reluctance to work, and underestimation of motivation in the child. Exercises / tasks should be adapted to the abilities and needs of the child.

Systematic work – work consistently and on certain days.

Consistency at work – work with the child is directed by the parent, you should require the performance of a task, work – you simply require the child to overcome difficulties, it develops and builds self-esteem and toughens to life.

Accuracy of performance – make sure that the tasks / exercises are performed by the child carefully. It’s not about doing it fast and sloppy. Half the work can be done by a child, but it must be exact.

Duration max. 10 min. – especially when the eyes are involved in work. After 10 min. change exercises, e.g. you play with rhymes, rhyme with your child, dance, read him a book.

Exercise material: large, clear patterns, symbols, puzzles (for small children, preschool children, in early school education and for visually impaired children), then smaller ones.
Tool selection:

  • children with excessive muscle tension – a soft pencil, crayon or brush,
  • children with low muscle tone – a hard pencil, crayon (not paints and felt-tip pens).

    Very important at the end:
  • Parents, remember, you can organize work with the child at home in such a way that it will not know, feel that it is being improved. Play with him, enjoy his progress, even the smallest ones, hug your baby and tell him how important he is to you. The most important thing for a child is your love and acceptance. Remember that.

Who can help parentsThe spontaneous and assisted development of the baby depends on many factors. The most important features that should be shaped include:

Reasonably and inventively selected toys primarily teach: dexterity, creativity, enrich the imagination and allow you to get to know the world in an interesting way.
