Computer play opens the doors to discovery for all children. For children with disabilities, the computer provides endless opportunities for expression, skill development and independence.
In addition to motivating software programs, Lekotek uses adapted equipment such as enlarged keypads and track balls, toys and other props to make computer play a spectacular experience. Many Lekotek centers offer software lending libraries, which allow families to borrow pieces of interactive software for use on their home computers. |
