| Day 1 Monday, 10:30 am – 4:00 pm – $150 |

| Understanding Children with Disabilities and How They Play | |||||
| We will focus on disability awareness, play techniques and disability resources. Participants will engage in disability simulations | |||||
| Day 2 Tuesday, 9 am – 5 pm – $175 |

| Integrating Technology into the Play Session | |||||
| Through both hands-on and case study approach, participants will gain knowledge of the way computers can be used successfully for all children. Participants will learn how to use a variety of adaptive computer equipment such as IntelliKeys, switch activated software and more. They will also become familiar with a wide range of educational software, which can all be used as tools to encourage play, discovery and learning. | |||||
| Day 3 Wednesday, 9 am – 5 pm – $175 |

| Adapting Toys, Equipment & Activities for Accessible Play | |||||
| Through hands-on workshops, participants will learn the necessary skills to adapt toys and play activities that will enable children with special needs to successfully access play. Trainees will make an adapted switch for a toy. Other topics include positioning for play and toy adaptation. | |||||
