<description>The new Americans with Disabilities Act title III regulation became effective March 15, 2011 for nonprofits and businesses across the country. It emphasized some old requirements, and imposed some new requirements. It also introduced the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design, which historically now include requirements for certain types of recreation sites. Lekotek Centers and other nonprofits are affected by this comprehensive federal civil rights law.</description>
